My Search for a Muse
Over the years, many artists have said that their creative work has been inspired by an individual or individuals who they refer to as their muse. A muse is a nude model who has such an influence on the artist that she becomes the focus and inspiration for that person’s creative work.
Muse is a word derived from Greek Mythology. Zeus had nine daughters called the muses, if a muse loved a man then all his problems instantly disappeared. That man was from then on considered sacred.
In the history of art, many artists have been inspired by a muse, one of the most famous is Picasso, he was inspired by many muses throughout his career. His worked evolved and changed with each muse, and it is plain to see the amazing influence they had on his creativity.
In my journey into the world of erotic art, my muses have been a series of nude and erotic models who I have been able to work with, interact with and who have helped me experiment and learn about the human form, and the sensual and erotic side that goes with it. These models have not been professionals, merely people who are on a similar journey to me and who with to use this unique modelling experience for further their experiences.
Are you my next Muse?
I love working with a muse, someone who becomes a co-conspirator in my work, someone bold, daring and adventurous who can allow me to explore all the avenues of my chosen genre of art.
I am currently looking for a model who will be some my new muse.
If you think you would like to try this you need to fit the following criteria:
1. Be comfortable naked. You don’t need to be an experienced nude model, just someone keen to explore this.
2. Be confident in your own skin. Not looking for perfection just a willing subject.
3. Be open to different ideas and direction. Also be brave enough to have your say, a muse who brings her personality to the shoot is the best kind.
4. Enjoy having lots of free photos of yourself.
5. Must be able to be available when I am. Generally weekday mornings!
6. And last but not least, the muse I am looking for is female.
Most importantly look at my work and see if you are comfortable being involved in it.
